CCP Pasinaya 2025 Open House Festival introduces Palaro for Pinoy digital games

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Pasinaya Open House Festival continues its commitment to bolstering Philippine arts and creativity. This February 1-2, 2025, Pasinaya: Para sa Lahat invites everyone to discover Palaro, its newest festival segment.

“Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or a curious first-timer, Palaro offers a one-of-a-kind experience where Filipino culture meets cutting-edge technology,” shares CCP Vice President and Artistic Director Dennis N. Marasigan. “It’s a celebration of our heritage reimagined through the lens of our local creative industry.”

Palaro, where Philippine history, mythology, and creativity come to life through homegrown gaming experiences. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of projects up close such as SINAG by Ranida Games—a mobile 1v1 fighting game that intertwines Filipino mythology with skillfull mechanics. Dive into the entrepreneurial spirit of Pearls of Asia by Synthillate, where you’ll manage a business empire with a Filipino twist. Travel across iconic landmarks in Gala by Kendikorp, solve puzzles with friends in Treasure Seekers by Metamedia Information Systems Corp., or get swept away in a story driven adventure in Kata by Katakata Creative.

For comic and animation enthusiasts, an wide selection of works will also be on display including Tulogmatian by Ethel Mae Reyes, Teduray by Julius Sempio, Sinogo by Alfred Ismael Galaroza, and Legend of Sleeping Beauty Mountain by Marco Sumayao. Dive into the animated world of Makopa by Friendly Foes, explore the mythical Tungkung Langit at AlunSina by Komiket Inc., or embark on the gripping journey of Datu Pat i Mata by Lea Zoraina Sindao Lim.
