NEW YORK, USA – Independent ad agency GIGIL has brought home top honors from the Clio Awards, winning a gold and a bronze in the Film category — making the company the best performer from the Philippines in one of the world’s toughest creative shows.

GIGIL’s gold Clio was awarded to RC Cola Miracle, an online film that has chalked up 288.2M views in a nation of 116M people after taking inspiration from Filipino film classic Himala (Miracle) to showcase the product’s benefits.

The bronze Clio was for Mandaue Foam Home Store‘s film called Steal, a clever piece created for Mandaue Foam that showed the local furniture brand’s wide variety of products, which helped make the company’s online sales surge by 221%.

The two films were created in collaboration with Arcade Film Factory director, Marius Talampas.

GIGIL’s gold is the only one awarded to the Philippines this year, underscoring not just the agency’s creative edge, but also the global potential of locally loved content.

“This win proves that real entertaining work—the kind that Filipinos actually see, enjoy, and talk about online—can also earn recognition on the global stage like the prestigious Clio Awards,” said Jake Yrastorza, Managing Partner at GIGIL. “We’re proud to be representing Filipino creativity, and we’ll keep pushing to show the world what our country’s ideas can do.”

The CLIO Awards are among the world’s most respected honors in advertising, celebrating bold work that propels the industry forward. It is headquartered in New York City.
